Elektroplan is appointed as the sole Supplier and Distributor for two highly recognized international companies namely CEIA S.p.A. in Italy and Med-Eng Systems in Canada for their products in the Sub-Sahara region in Africa.
Elektroplan also supplies various other products especially related to humanitarian demining that are manufactured and available in South Africa. Elektroplan is registered as an Importer and an Exporter at the SA Revenue Services (SARS) and are able to export procured products for clients to where ever in the world they requested.

CEIA is a manufacturing company specialized in the design, engineering and production of METAL DETECTORS.
CEIA metal detectors are rated as the best metal detectors in the world and are utilized all over the world.
The metal detectors currently supplied by the Elektroplan are specifically underground metal detectors used in the military and humanitarian demining field and walkthrough detectors used in the security business field.
Elektroplan Personnel received specialist training in the operation, installation and repair and maintenance on all the products at the CEIA factory in Italy.
MED-ENG Systems
Med-Eng has established itself as a world leader in designing, developing and fielding advanced electronics, cooling solutions and protective ensembles for those who face threats from blast, ballistics and heat.
Elektroplan is appointed by Med-Eng as their sole supplier and distributor of their following products in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Every piece of demining equipment has undergone live blast testing. Each demining suit and demining helmet provides an optimal balance between protection and comfort, and takes into consideration climate and operational demands.
Hand tools for Manual demining
Elektroplan supplies a set of hand tools specifically designed, developed and manufactured for the manual deminer to ensure his safety in the first place and secondly to enhance his productivity.
The tools are designed and developed in association with established demining companies and organizations like MECHEM, SeditaS.A.R.L., KDAH, Rocand S.A.R.L. and LVP Technology.
The hand tools are secured in a convenient and durable splash proof bag with an industrial 2-way zip than can be locked. The prodder, excavating tool and trowel are specifically design and manufactured of very low magnetic signature, tough, non-brittle stainless steel. These items also underwent blast tests to ensure that the tools do not enhance the possible injuries of the deminer by shattering in case of a mine accident.
The vegetation cutting and removal equipment that forms part of the tools are off-the-rack items and are manufactured by Lasher tools and are currently of the best quality available in South Africa.
