Humanitarian Mine Action

Elektroplan is an independent corporation consisting also of humanitarian mine action specialists with vast experience in this field who operated on the different levels of management as well as in the different components of humanitarian mine action during various mine action programmes in many landmine invested countries in the world.

The main objective of Elektroplan regarding humanitarian mine action is to assist National Mine Action Authorities, United Nations organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations and  Mine Action Commercial companies in their efforts and activities of ridding mine infested countries from the constrains of the landmine.

Elektroplan is able and has the ability to conduct the following:

  • Quality assurance of Humanitarian Mine Actions Programs/Projects by conducting all levels of QA for and on behalf of the National Mine Action Authority/ Donors/Developers of a landmine infested country or Mine Action Project.
  • Preliminary investigation services to landmine affected countries on behalf of the United Nations and/or Donor Countries.
  • Landmine General Surveys in area/regions of landmine affected countries on behalf of Donors/Developers for specific projects.
  • Assisting landmine affected countries to establish their national mine action capacity by providing training in all areas of mine action and also on all management levels.
  • Training of Mine Action Organizations/ Companies personnel in all areas of mine action and at the different levels of management.
  • Compilation of mine action documentation for example, National Technical Standards and Guidelines, Standing Operating Procedures, Training Curricula and training material, etc.
  • Presenting of mine action training courses specific designed for situations and organizations as required.

Elektroplan is also providing specialist in the various fields and positions within a mine action project to mine action organizations for a period and/or as required.
